The Sanskrit term ‘hatha’ translates to ‘force’ and signifies the quest to preserve vital energy through physical practices. These practices encompass various elements such as asanas (physical postures), mudras (gestures), pranayamas (breathing techniques), shatkarmas (purification methods), meditation, and more.
In our hatha yoga classes, we prioritize achieving a harmonious blend of breathwork and body movements. The practice involves moderate periods of static posture holds, typically lasting one to two minutes, with a primary focus on connecting with the breath while in these postures.
All levels are welcome.
