What does yoga mean to you?
Yoga for me is all about connection. To yourself, your breath, body, mind and soul, to others, mother earth, the moon and far beyond. Yoga for me is moving and dancing with my breath, not to reach a specific goal, but just to be there, in the moment, with myself. In the stillness of these movements and dances with my breath, I find my way of meditating.

How would you describe your teaching style?
The most important thing for me is that my students feel safe and seen. I use my yin, feminine and motherly energy to guide them to connect to themselves, to their body, mind and soul through their breath. My classes are gentle, soft and flowy. And most of the time, I love to use music in my classes. I try to create an environment where, while we can have deep conversations with ourselves, there is also space for joy, a smile and a laugh.

What is your favorite yoga pose?
Upavistha Konasana (straddle)

Who inspires you?
Parveen Nair

What is your superpower?
My high empathy and intuition and making people laugh.

What recharges you?
Laying on the beach with a book or just listening to the waves, cooking delicious vegan food, spending time with my best friends and talking to my dad.

What makes you happy?
The ocean, animals, dancing and early morning runs.
